Rockland Trust Company and Live Nation today unveiled the Rockland Trust
Bank Pavilion, the new name-in-title sponsorship of Boston’s premier
outdoor amphitheater located on the waterfront in the city’s Seaport
neighborhood. Hosting about 40 events each year and welcoming 180,000
live music fans annually, the venue is a landmark for the region’s arts
and culture scene.
The Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion will provide a strong neighborhood link
to Rockland Trust’s existing Boston offices, including the newest
Rockland Trust retail location at 93 Franklin Street and the 101 Arch
Street lending and investment office at Downtown Crossing. In addition,
if anticipated regulatory approvals are received, Rockland Trust’s
Boston locations will also include a branch at 87 Seaport Boulevard in
the Seaport District nearby the Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion following
the merger of Blue Hills Bank into Rockland Trust.

The Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion is one of Boston’s most popular outdoor
amphitheaters and has hosted some of the city’s most memorable concerts.
Situated on Boston Harbor and adjacent to Rowes Wharf, the Rockland
Trust Bank Pavilion is the city’s premiere outdoor summer concert venue.
With a seating capacity of 5,000, the site is also one of the largest in
the area. The concert destination’s top of the line sound system,
spectacular lighting capabilities and cool harbor breezes make for a
truly unforgettable experience. Some of the most notable acts to perform
in recent years include Sting, Diana Ross, Van Morrison, and Don Henley.
